Two ‘making of’ moments from my second shoot for the “Water Dances” project. This time I worked with a slightly different approach in mind; rather than focusing on the contrast between the models’ styling and the derelict location, I chose to use as props a set of graphic prints which we made on the spot, before doing the actual photos
(acrylic on paper, brushes, dirt, coal were used in the making)
. I hope something good can come out of these two distinct outings, because the premise is good, and the models were perfect in their roles on both occasions. As a downside, I was planning on shooting film as well, I decided to keep the digital format after all, it’s difficult enough to juggle two cameras, let alone three.
