Greetings and then some
I’ve neglected the blog quite a bit. There are things going on in my life, and I had to put photography on the side for a while. Well, that’s not exactly true, because I just had an exhibition in my hometown, of which I will make a special post very soon. But, aside from that, I have traveled to Sicily (oh, my, how fucking inspired I feel after that), I am also in the lengthy and exhausting process of moving my work office to a different location, which implies a mountain of paperwork, interaction with the infamous Easter European bureaucracy, money money money spent with absolutely no visible result in sight just yet. This stuff has took a toll on my mood and life. I’m riddled with fatigue and insomnia and/or nightmares, and I just have to try and get some rest during the day, because nights are the worst. As always, this too shall pass, but I am deeply involved in this personal mayhem, and I miss making photos and living the simple, almost leisure life I was living before the pandemic. Thank goodness for family and friends, and cats and Xanax. Attaching a photo of Mădălina, taken a couple of years ago. Quite fitting for my mood.
Thank you for reading! ❤

Congrats on the exhibition. I really can sympathize with everything you have been dealing with-even the Eastern European bureaucracy! You know it will pass and it will. I have no idea how important this blog is to you in the great creative stream of things but I do find it very inspiring and really do appreciate your work, so thank you.

Thank you! It is important, because it records my journey in and around photography in a somewhat chronological manner. I keep planning on adding (just a little) more “wordy” posts on it, but as I wrote above, time is always an issue. Until then, it’s photos and the occasional rant 🙂 Cheers!
