The Skin of A Poet

Some days are dry and colorless. And then, someone comes in, throwing words and gestures around, leaving them to bounce and eventually wrap the space in a soft, almost palpable texture, like cotton candy. Alexandra talks and dances, laughs and smokes. She writes poetry when she’s happy, but mostly when she wants to remember how it feels to be happy.
